A Small Selection of Testimonials

Our mission at Old Wall Cottage is to provide the very best standards of care and compassion we can achieve; not only for each resident we care for, but also for the many friends and family members with whom we make contact.

It is, therefore, most gratifying to know that we have made a difference to the lives of the people we touch, and this small selection of testimonials may go some way to helping you understand why we truly love what we do and continually strive to be the best we can be:

To the Management & Staff at “Old Wall Cottage”

Thank you so much for the wonderful care you gave to my aunt, Joan Hawkins, during the final weeks of her life.

Her praise for you all is echoed by myself, my husband and Joan’s cousins.

The support and friendliness you showed to us was very much appreciated and will never be forgotten…

We wish you well for the future (thank God for people like you).

From Rosemary & George Phillips

To everyone at Old Wall Cottage

You’re all so very kind

We want to thank you for looking after Mary with love and compassion, making her last months much more pleasant than they would have been.

Keep up the good work.

Anita & Family

Dear Paul

I am Bill, husband of Mary Davey.  I thought I must write to personally thank you and your staff for the excellent care and attention you gave Mary while she was with you.  I just wish you were here or we had found you sooner as the care she received in her last home was disgusting and it made me feel really ill each week I saw her.  I had to fight with myself to transfer her as I knew I would never see her again but I decided it was important for her to have a better life and see more of her family, but it certainly paid off as reports from her sister Anita showed how well you were looking after her and the photos I saw proved it.  She looked so much happier and more like her normal self.  Although I greatly missed her it made me feel a lot better in my mind to know how well she was being cared for.  I just wish she could have had a bit longer, but it had to come and I am sure she died a lot happier than she would have done anywhere else.

Well please accept my sincere thanks for all you did and for all the staff involved with her and may your home go on for years trouble free.

Yours sincerely

Bill Davey
